MiseTings Mirrodin Competition - Winner Announcement

By: MB - October 10, 2003

At last, the MiseTings Mirrodin article competition has come to an end. The competition was announced about three weeks before the release of Mirrodin, providing ample time and material for MiseTingers to work with. Everything from WotC's non-disclosure policy to classic forum idiocy was lampooned, and there were plenty of sick and disturbing Tings to go around as well. Perhaps the best thing about the competition was that we got to see several excellent first-time writers in action, lured by the promise of Mirrodin bling bling. Hopefully they will be writing again soon.

If your submission didn't get posted, don't get discouraged; you are not alone. Out of approximately 30 submissions, only 13 made it through the cutting block. With so many submissions we can not post them all. My suggestion: take your article and post it to the MiseTings Forums and we will try to give you some advice on how to strengthen your articles. Perhaps next time you will be the one walking home with a box. ;)
