RENTON, WA -- Magic: the Gathering senior designer Mark Rosewater declared Wednesday that Poison would be soon coming back to Magic. "It's been a long time since Poison's seen the light of day," remarked Rosewater at a conference following the announcement. "But I've always loved Poison, and what I love, everybody must love."

Poison is due to make a triumphant return.

""All hail Rosewater!" then came roaring out of his tape recorder at the touch of a button. "MaRo! MaRo! MaRo!" the recording continued.

Also present at the conference were Poison, who spoke about their on-again, off-again love affair with the game.

"Yeah, we were all cool with the game about the time of Legends," said frontman Bret Michaels. "We didn't have a lot to do back then, what with us sucking so bad and all."

After the release of Visions, Poison was nowhere to be found in the game. Lead guitarist C.C. Deville explained, "Sure, it was fun for a while, but then we realized how bad we sucked and that was that. I was fine with that, because I knew we really, truly sucked."

The Magic community is already showing mixed feelings about the upcoming return of Poison. "Poison sucks," declared 14-year-old Magic player Aaron Borshowski.

13-year-old Jonathan Zwizer disagreed. "Poison blows."
