Wise Seeks Restraining Order on Rizzo

By: Anonymous - November 21, 2001

A court hearing has been scheduled for Dec. 5 following Gary Wise's request for a restraining order against Internet rabble-rouser John 'Friggin' Rizzo. The difficulties began a few weeks ago when Rizzo wrote in one of his weekly tirades that Wise would be the one person in the world whom he'd most like to fight. Wise then responded "Bring it on," in his Wise Words article.

When asked about the event, Wise commented "Man, i thought it was just a crazy joke. Just a little 'Fight Club' humor. I mean, why would anyone really want to fight me? I'm the most loved man on the Net!"

Since the literary challenge was issued, Wise has reported several disturbing incidents to local authorities. The first involved a letter he received with the words "MY FIST TO YOUR DI-ZOME, CHIEF" pasted together from newspaper clippings. Wise has also reported several cases of a concealed figures following him in the late evening.
By far the most disturbing incident occured just last night, when Wise awoke to find the heads of several Flametongue Kavu cut from his personal card collection lying next to him in bed.

Mr. Rizzo could not be reached for comment, as he now lives in Maine, and no MiseTings reporter was willing to go up there to find him.
